Tuva and parenthood
I had a Will Wheaton esque moment this morning with Morgan. I had purchased Back Tuva Future after hearing some similar stuff from a guy at work. The music is infectious. Morgan and I were listening to it last night, and as I took him to school this morning.
Morgan really likes it, which makes me feel great! I’m glad I could introduce him to something new, unique, and pretty darn cool. It is certainly something his “real” father would never have presented to him. I now better understand some of the things Wil has written about with his experiences as a stepfather. Lisa doesn’t really “get” the music, which is fine. It something that Morgan and I share. We were dancing away in the kitchen last night listening to the CD. Just thinking about it makes me smile.
