Tomato Explosion
This year the garden has really produced a lot of tomatoes. The very wet spring, combined with a hot dry summer seemingly has worked out pretty well. We took about two dozen tomatoes to Lisa’s family reunion in Florence. This weekend, we packed up at least as many to freeze. They would have spoiled otherwise.

The yellow tomatoes have been quite tasty. They have a lot more flavor than most of the other varieties we grew. The most impressive one of all, though, is the tripod tomato.
